Summary of the Role Reports to: Swim-Coordinator Deputy General Manager General Manager Responsibilities · Ensuring lessons are effectively delivered. · Provide an enjoyable experience for our members. · Accurately complete records to track attendance and development. · Work closely with Swim management to reach your targets. · Help develop the commercial success of the swim programme. · Planning swimming lessons that take into account student’s abilities and progressive development. · Identifying incorrect swimming techniques and correcting students accordingly. · Ensure sessions run to time. · Assisting customers with enquiries in a friendly and effective manner Professional Attributes: · STA level 2 certificate in teaching swimming or Swim England (ASA) level 2 certificate in teaching swimming. · Hold SEQ LEVEL 2 - Teaching Swimming to Babies and Toddlers or equivalent · Exceptional communication skills and experience in a customer facing environment. · Flexibility as lessons take place in the am/pm, weekends are also required to meet the needs of the business. · The ability to work as part of a team. · The ability to deliver high quality service with minimal supervision. · DBS certificate holder or be able to provide information to enable this to be obtained prior to start date. · Desirably hold a valid NPLQ (lifeguard) qualification. · Experience of achieving results and making a difference to customers
