Leisure Venues Aquatics Programme Co-ordinator Doncaster Culture & Leisure Trust are looking for experienced managers to fulfil a new role overseeing the delivery of all aspects of the Aquatics programme within our Leisure Venues. Doncaster Culture & Leisure Trust (DCLT) is a registered charity delivering premier leisure and culture provision in the City of Doncaster. Due to a company re-structure, we are looking to recruit proven and experienced people to support the Operations and Commercial managers with the development and delivery the aquatics programme across their designated sites, We are looking for candidates who can Be passionate and determined to develop our Aquatics programme within our venues, to drive high standards of service delivery, customer service and retention. Support at their sites in the recruitment, selection and onboarding of our Aquatics team members within their designated venues. Working with the Aquatics Manager to ensure staff development, in delivery of training, completion for regular ongoing development reviews and quality control. Show their passion for training and education, and sharing their knowledge and experience to develop both their colleagues and new members of the team joining the business, Create a fun and friendly environment in which you are a role model of professionalism, honesty, and integrity as you interact with your team and centre members whilst embracing our company values. About the Role This role will support in the Aquatics delivery for multiple sites, assisting with implementing cover and consistency in the delivery of our swimming lesson programme. To ensure the delivery of exceptional customer experience, to address customer feedback and concerns, to follow the company charter to maintain a positive company reputation and to ensure continuous improvement of the venues. To provide support of the Lifeguard training and development programme, delivering ongoing CPD sessions, lifeguard courses and assessment, and re-validation sessions To work with management teams at designated venues to streamline and enhance day to day operations, with support by way of covering as Duty Manager. About you: You will have operational experience in aquatics, with skills based around lifeguarding and site delivery, including swimming school provision – A Level 2 Swim Teaching Qualification would be to your advantage. You will display a “can do” positive and professional attitude, a strong work ethic and the ability to lead by example and drive your teams to do the same. To be prepared to be flexible in your approach to supporting operational aspects of designated venues across the Trust. You will have the ability to communicate agreed clear outcome focused objectives, to deliver support for your teams and provide energy and drive in achievement of these objectives. Recognised Pool lifeguard Level 2 in teaching swimming Level 3 in education and assessing Pool plant operator
