Pool Manager PART TIME: 30 hours per week Salary: £31,447.40 (pro rata) Hybrid working and swim teaching Are you an experienced swim teacher or coordinator looking to step up and develop your career? Interested in furthering your skills and gaining more qualifications? As a Pool Manager you will be responsible for the venue, people and swim sessions we provide at the pool. We want you to make your mark, help us improve and develop our training programme, show us exemplary swim teaching and continue our quality customer service. We are looking for a Pool Manager to join our team! Here at SwimCentral we are super proud of where we have come in the last decade. With guidance and support from the Operations Manager, you will build good relations with our partners and customers for everyone’s safety and enjoyment. You'll help our swimming teachers create games and manage their development. We're looking for someone who believes in high standards with lots of energy, to lead a lively team and ensure the site is ready to deliver our engaging programme of activities for all ages. As a member of the management team, we will support and mentor you. We will provide training in leadership, safety and education. We'll help you find your specialist area and you will achieve new qualifications and experience with our ever-growing team. So what do we need from you as a Pool Manager? *STA Award / Certificate or Swim England Level 2 qualification *Experience of delivering and developing a coached activity programme for aquatic sports/swimming lessons. *Experience of managing staff, including recruitment, rota’s, payroll, training and performance reviews *Experience of implementing Health and safety processes at swimming pools e.g., risk assessments, PSOP etc. *IT skills, including Microsoft Office and swim management software *Reliable and consistent ability to prioritise and manage own time effectively. *NRASTC or UK lifeguard qualification OR be willing to achieve one after you are hired *Full and valid driving licence and access to vehicle - we have 2 sites we operate across Bath, so it would be really useful if you can travel. Flexibility to meet operational requirements on a Monday to Sunday rota; including evening, weekend and bank holiday work.
