Swimming Teacher - with Baby and Preschool Qualification

We are seeking a dedicated Preschool Swimming Teacher to join our team at a brand new Pool and sessions in Burgess Hill. The post needs filling ASAP This is a brand new hydrotherapy pool with brand new classes at a lovely private swim school. Lessons are on a Sunday morning in Burgess Hill from 10am - 12.00noon but with option to extend on the Sunday. Lessons on other days also available. Term time lessons only - fully employed position - paid 12 months of the year via PAYE. Training provided and supported The ideal candidate will have a passion for educating young children and creating a stimulating learning environment within the pool. Must hold a Swim teaching qualification and Baby and Preschool teaching qualification and have experience. this is a sole teacher role initially so must confident in teaching and liaising with families. Pool testing will be required - training provided. *Responsibilities* - Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and schemes of work - Provide a safe and nurturing environment for all swimmers - Encourage social, emotional, cognitive and swimming development through play-based learning activities - Monitor and assess children's progress and communicate effectively with parents - Safeguarding of all swimmers and families *Requirements* - Level 2 swim teaching qualification/L2 Baby and Preschool qualification - DBS Check (provided) - Pool testing qualification (training can be provided) - NRASTC or Safety award for Teachers (training can be provided) - Previous experience working with preschool-aged children in a swimming environment - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to create engaging and inclusive learning experiences Job Type: Part-time Pay: £20.00-£25.00 per hour
