TURTLE TOTS SWIMMING INSTRUCTOR Job Role - Baby & Pre-school swimming instructor following Turtle Tots programme - Part-time role consisting initially of a 3 hour shift on a Saturday morning in the West End of Glasgow - Option of additional shifts over time and likely locations are Dunbartonshire/West Glasgow/Renfrewshire - Kit and uniform will be provided. - Car is essential Responsibilities - To teach Turtle Tots classes in accordance with the Turtle Tots programme and ethos - To take responsibility for classes taught and arrive in a timely manner for lessons - To proactively provide a personal experience to every Turtle Tots family and deliver high quality tuition - To liaise with the wider Turtle Tots team to provide excellent customer service - To ensure qualifications, STA membership, DBS check and CPD requirements are up-to-date - To update the franchisee on any and all incidents or accidents during or before/after any classes - To be professional at all times in appearance and demeanour - To give feedback to the franchisee regarding pools, classes and the Turtle Tots/Tums programme - To proactively improve and increase knowledge base and skills as a Turtle Tots teacher - To ensure up-to-date class register and attendance records at all times - To maintain a safe pool environment at all times, including displaying relevant signage as provided by the franchisee. - To update the franchisee on any safety issues/changes to PSOPs at any pool as soon as practically possible - To try to find cover amongst the team for periods of absence due to holiday or illness - To cover for other teachers where possible in the case of absence - Any other relevant and reasonable duties as required by the franchisee/manager
