Trainee Swimming Teacher - No Qualifications Required

Seahorses Swim School are looking to recruit Trainee Swimming Teachers to join our team and undertake our 2–3 year structured training programme, becoming a fully qualified, experienced swimming teacher. This role is ideal for someone who is looking to commit to a long-term career in swim teaching (5+ years) and is passionate about working with children, including those with SEND. About the Role: Paid training provided through our in-house programme A combination of theory training, pool-based training, assisting, and teaching classes Ongoing assessment and mentoring throughout the programme Teaching children of varying ages and abilities in a supportive environment Working with small groups and private lessons Teaching in lovely warm private pools (32 degrees+!) Contribution towards or paid teaching qualification courses Free swimming lessons for your children What We’re Looking For: A genuine enjoyment of working with children A love of swimming and being in the water Able to swim basic frontcrawl, backstroke, and breaststroke (does not need to be completely efficient or amazing!) Reliable, professional, and caring Willingness to learn and commit to long-term development Experience in a sports, teaching, or childcare role is ideal, but not essential Availability & Locations: Must be available to work at least 3–4 sessions per week Long-term commitment required Sessions include evenings and weekends (flexible) Willingness to work across multiple sites: Farnham, Hindhead, and Bordon Willingness to attend training sessions across multiple locations: Farnham, Hindhead, Bordon, Tadley Must be available to teach year-round with a 2 week break for Easter, 4 for summer, and 2 for Christmas Additional holiday hours available If you’re enthusiastic, motivated, and looking to build a rewarding career helping children develop a life-long skill, we’d love to hear from you. Training rates start from £15 per hour, and increase with experience and completion of parts of the training programme. Upon satisfactory completion of our full training programme teachers can expect £28-30 per hour.
