Assistant Manager

We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated and committed individual to join our Operations Management Team at Thornbury Active Lifestyle Centre in the role of Assistant Manager. As Assistant Manager you will be directly responsible for the day-to-day operation of the facility, and for Health & Safety and Facilities Management, including, but not limited to: • Monitoring the cleanliness of the facility • Ensuring effective systems are in place for cleaning stock control • Coordinating checks of pool plant and technical operations and take the lead in plant operation training • Being responsible for the development, monitoring and review of safe systems of work • Ensuring COSHH, RIDDOR, First Aid and accident/incident procedures are in place and adhered to We want to hear from you if you... • Hold an NVQ Level 3 in Leisure Management, or considerable and varied Leisure Management experience • Have experience of health and safety management and staff supervision • See the bigger picture for Thornbury and have the ambition to be part of its future growth and success.
