Class Lead Swimming Teacher — St Crispin’s School, Gracemount, Edinburgh Stepping Stones Swimming is looking for a qualified, dependable Class Lead Swimming Teacher to join our team at St Crispin’s School in the Gracemount area of Edinburgh, EH17 8EX. This is a regular weekly teaching role delivering high-quality, low-ratio group swimming lessons for children. Available hours: - Monday to Thursday: 3:45pm–6:15pm - Friday: 3:30pm–6:00pm As a Class Lead, you will independently plan and deliver safe, enjoyable and engaging lessons using the Stepping Stones teaching framework. You will support each swimmer’s confidence, development and progression, while creating a welcoming experience for families. Key responsibilities: - Deliver engaging group swimming lessons - Plan and adapt lessons to meet swimmer needs - Monitor swimmer progression and assess class levels where required - Provide feedback to families, colleagues and the Stepping Stones office - Commit consistently to the agreed weekly classes - Maintain high standards of safety, professionalism and swimmer care Essential qualifications: - A recognised National Governing Body swimming teaching qualification: SSTQ, STA, Swim England / ASA or UKCC equivalent Desirable qualifications: - NRASTC - NPLQ - STA Safety Award We are looking for a teacher who is fun, friendly, professional, reliable and confident working with children. This is an employed PAYE position, with holiday allowance, pension and payroll managed directly by Stepping Stones.
