Swimming Teacher

We’re seeking a number of people full of enthusiasm to join our fantastic team, teaching: Swim Academy classes for school aged children, aged 4 – 10 years This includes Sundays at our Wright Robinson pool in Gorton, Manchester, and 1-2 evenings at our Aqua Nurture pool in Hyde and/or Saturday afternoons and 1-2 evenings at our Aqua Nurture pool in Hyde. Baby & Pre-School classes for 0-4 years. Weekends at our Y Club pool in Castlefield, Manchester and our Aqua Nurture pool in Gee Cross, Hyde. You will also need to be flexible with working across our different venues. A passion for water, swimming and working with children is a must-have. Ideally you will already hold the relevant qualifications for the roles, such as the STA Baby & Pre-School qualification or the ASA/STA Level 2 Award prior to joining the business and undertaking further in-house training. We offer highly competitive rates of pay and excellent career progression. No previous teaching or professional swimming experience is required as full training is provided. You need to enjoy being in the water and able to swim, have a confident and friendly personality, be flexible and a team worker. Key Skills/Attributes: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. A passion for children and for teaching. Clean Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check (paid for and conducted by Puddle Ducks) Computer literate. You need to be a reasonably competent swimmer (able to swim 25m and surface dive to the bottom of a 1.8m pool). Valid Driving Licence and use of own car is essential.
