Train to Become a Swim Teacher (4th - 14th June)

Are you interested in becoming a Swim Teacher? Now’s your chance! We are offering an exciting opportunity to train as a swim teacher and work for your local Active Lifestyle Centre! You will gain a Nationally recognised Swim Teaching Qualification with the possibility of further career development within the Leisure Industry. If you’re looking to develop new skills, or thinking of a change in career then we would love to hear from you! This course is being held at Thornbury Active Lifestyle Centre on the following dates: 04/06/2025 - 9:00am - 6:30pm 05/06/2025 - 9:00am - 6:30pm 09/06/2025 - 9:00am - 6:30pm 11/06/2025 - 9:00am - 6:30pm 13/06/2025 - 9:00am - 4:00pm 14/06/2025 - 8:00am - 12:00pm Full attendance is required. During the application and interview process, you will be asked to indicate your preference for fixed hours of work (contracted) or working for us on an “as and when required” (casual) basis. Please note the following for each: Contracted: We will fund 100% of the course, subject to you signing a training agreement. The training agreement stipulates that you must agree to repay in full the cost of the training if you: Leave the organisation during your first 12 months of employment Do not complete the STA Course Are dismissed for any reason other than redundancy Casual: We will fund 50% of the course and you will fund the remaining 50% subject to you signing a training agreement. The training agreement stipulates that you must agree to repay in full Circadian Trust’s contribution to the cost of the training if you: Leave the organisation during your first 12 months of work Do not complete the STA Course Do not work for a period of three consecutive months We have the following availability at each site: Kingswood - Contracted and Casual roles available. Contracted shifts are as follows: Saturday 8:30am - 11:30am Sunday 8:30am - 10:30am Yate - Contracted and Casual roles available. Contracted shifts are as follows: Tuesday 4:00pm - 7:00pm Wednesday - 3:30pm - 5:30pm, 4:00pm - 6:30pm Thursday - 4:30pm - 6:30pm, 4:00pm - 6:00pm Friday 4:00pm - 6:00pm, 3:30pm - 6:30pm Saturday - 8:00am - 11:30am Sunday - 3:30pm - 5:30pm Longwell Green - Contracted and Casual roles available.
