Post: Cleaning Assistant Contract: Flexible Salary: £12 per hour ** GLL is looking for a cleaner to work at the Hub. As Cleaning Assistant at the Hub, you will deliver a vital role providing a high-quality &efficient cleaning service, clean and tidy environment that meets the centre’s high customer care standards. ** What you’ll do: ** • Be a keyholder for the Hub opening up the building • Delivering the cleaning schedule, ensuring all daily, weekly and monthly tasks are completed to an excellent standard, including cleaning all public toilets, offices, café, studio, workshop, offices and stairwells and lift. • Carry out tasks including, sweeping and mopping floors and skirting boards; dusting surfaces; sanitising all touch points; removing cobwebs; cleaning windows, doors, signage, lighting, and emptying bins. • Carry out daily cleaning supply checks of toilet rolls, hand soap and blue roll, and restock as required • Carry out daily cleaning equipment checks of materials, and request order top-ups as required • Ensure a high standard of hygiene is maintained and delivered at all times ** What you need: ** • You will be enthusiastic and hard-working with excellent attention to detail. • Good time management • Skilled and enthusiastic in delivering an excellent standard of cleanliness • Good knowledge and awareness of COSHH (Control of Substances Hazardous to Health) • Previous experience of cleaning is essential. Experience of cleaning in a commercial or public setting is desired • A positive attitude • Reliable and punctual • Motivated with a flexible and adaptable approach • Requirement to work flexibly to support the centre daily’s operations • Ability to work as part of a team and independently The Hub is owned and funded by North Kesteven District Council and is a National Portfolio Organisation of Arts Council England.
