Swim Academy Teacher: Weekends and evenings

ABOUT THE ROLE We’re seeking a number of reliable and enthusiastic people to join our fantastic team to teach our popular Swim Academy classes for school aged children, aged 4 – 10 years. A passion for water, swimming and working with children is a must-have. The role involves some in water teaching and some from poolside. The most important thing is your commitment to working weekly during our term times. Children make progress when they have the same teacher every week, so this role is for someone who can commit to being at the pool every week of term. We build our classes around that consistency, and parents rely on it. Please only apply if you can: Commit to a regular weekly slot, including weekends Be dependable, punctual and prepared for every session Complete all required training in full to our high standards Hold a full driving licence and have access to your own car as often pools and times of sessions do not align with public transport WHEN YOU'LL WORK Term time only (with potential for additional weeks in the future) Saturdays: Wendover and Aylesbury Sundays: Swanbourne Weekday afternoons/ evenings; Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays WHAT YOU'LL NEED A genuine passion for working with children STA Level 2 Swimming Teaching (preferred; we'll arrange it for the right person, with all training hours paid at £12.80 per hour) NRASTC or SAT lifesaving qualification preferred; we can arrange) A safeguarding qualification Internal Puddle Ducks qualifications, completed once all the above are in place WHAT YOU'LL DO Deliver quality lessons using our lesson plans, manuals and support system Treat every child as an individual Keep the pool environment clean, organised and safe What we offer Ongoing training and support, a competitive salary, company pension, free flu jabs, a health and wellbeing programme and profit sharing.
