About the Role To promote the Council’s vision, values, aims, objectives, and priorities actively and effectively, putting our citizens first through the delivery of best value services. You will support the commercial and community management of the centre with the existing management team and be accountable for specific key financial and operational responsibilities as agreed with the General Manager that support achievement of operational targets and objectives. You will have a skill set to ensure that all Health and Safety Operational Standards and procedures are met and maintained.. You will be able to provide innovative ideas and be able to implement these in an operational environment improving the productivity and service of the facility and team. Be responsible for the leadership and management of colleagues to drive performance of the team and facilities delivering safe, efficient and effective facilities under the direct control of the Assistant Manager. This post will be key to the development of Nottingham Swim School and Pool programme at Harvey Hadden with key work around growing our Swim School memberships and looking at maximising opportunity through pool programming and managing pool events. About You The ideal candidate will have: National Pool Lifeguard Gen 10 RLSS /IOS Pool Plant Operators Certificate Emergency First Aid ESSENTIAL CRITERIA • Drive and motivation, ability to deliver against challenging objectives. • Ability to develop products and activities, research proposals, write reports and implement findings • Ability to be creative, to be able to identify problems and work to create solutions. • Evidence of actively working with others to improve collaboration internally and externally. • An understanding of why it’s important to consider equality, diversity, and inclusion in all that we do. • Experience of managing and leading a diverse team to include performance management. - A DBS enhanced check for a regulated activity is required for this post.
