Job Purpose You will be responsible for the operation of the Aqua Park, to manage the safe, efficient and profitable operation of the site. You will ensure that customer health and safety is the highest priority of all employees. Ensuring that the company culture is maintained, and all employees act as brand ambassadors for the company. Pre-Season Responsibilities You will attend Aqua Park Rutland, for pre-season training. Key Operational Responsibilities Responsible for the health and safety onsite of our employees and customers, by following our documented procedures (Normal Operating Procedures , NOP’s and Emergency Action Plans, EAP’s) and safe systems of work. You must act promptly to both control risks and escalate any issues to the Directors. Working to an agreed budget throughout the season. You will report daily to the Sites Director, on agreed metrics, to ensure the Site runs efficiently. Managing proactively by continuously reviewing the booking system, weather and employee rotas to ensure safe optimisation of the park. Liaising with the Marketing and Communications Director, on a weekly basis future bookings and session availability, as required. Rotas must be published a minimum of 4 weeks in advance, and holiday requests must be dealt with promptly, ensuring that appropriate cover on site can be maintained. You will ensure that employees have the opportunity to earn incentives under the company’s current schemes. Along with the Duty Managers you will monitor the performance of the Customer Service and Sales Representatives, coaching and encouraging them to deliver their best performance. In season you will work with the Marketing Director to ensure that any promotions are trained out to the team and implemented smoothly. Ensuring maintenance schedules are met, and maintenance logs are completed. Liaising with the Sites Director Aqua Park Directors and manufacturers as appropriate, to ensure that any required replacements are ordered and repairs carried out with authorised parts. To walk the site, daily, to ensure that the team is operating effectively and all potential issues are resolved promptly. You are expected to identify potential problems (e.g.cleanliness) and propose solutions to the Sites Director, on a timely basis. Ensuring that all employees clock in and clock out correctly, and any required adjustments for authorised overtime are made. If, for any reason, we are over staffed on an operational day, you will, in the first instance, look for volunteers to send home. If no-one volunteers, then select individuals, and advise them that you will look to make future adjustments to their rota.
