Apprentice Swimming Teacher

Swimming Instructor in training • Help deliver structured swimming lessons to children and/or adults. • Follow the swim school programme. • Ensure a safe learning environment in and around the pool. • Monitor swimmer progress and provide feedback to parents or guardians. • Maintain discipline and encourage confidence in the water. • Assist swimmers with skill development and water safety. ⸻ Reception and Customer Service • Welcome swimmers and parents on arrival. • Mark swimmers in for their lessons. • Take payments for lessons where required. • Answer general enquiries about lessons and schedules. • Assist with bookings and basic administration. ⸻ General Duties • Prepare equipment required for lessons. • Help maintain a clean and organised poolside, reception area and changing rooms • Make drinks/refreshments for customers where required. • Assist with setting up and packing away for sessions. • Support the smooth running of the swim school. ⸻ You will also gain a Community Activator Coaching apprenticeship through Sports Structures.
