Train to Become a Swim Teacher (31st July - 6th August)

Are you interested in becoming a Swim Teacher? Now’s your chance! We are offering an exciting opportunity to train as a swim teacher and work for your local Active Lifestyle Centre! You will gain a Nationally recognised Swim Teaching Qualification with the possibility of further career development within the Leisure Industry. If you’re looking to develop new skills, or thinking of a change in career then we would love to hear from you! This course is being held at Yate Active Lifestyle Centre on the following dates: 31/07/2025 - 9:00am - 6:30pm 01/08/2025 - 9:00am - 6:30pm 03/08/2025 - 9:00am - 6:30pm 04/08/2025 - 9:00am - 6:30pm 06/08/2025 - 9:00am - 6:30pm Full attendance is required. During the application and interview process, you will be asked to indicate your preference for fixed hours of work (contracted) or working for us on an “as and when required” (casual) basis. Please note the following for each: Contracted: We will fund 100% of the course, subject to you signing a training agreement. The training agreement stipulates that you must agree to repay in full the cost of the training if you: Leave the organisation during your first 12 months of employment Do not complete the STA Course Are dismissed for any reason other than redundancy Casual: We will fund 50% of the course, subject to you signing a training agreement. The training agreement stipulates that you must agree to repay in full Circadian Trust's contribution to the cost of the training if you: Leave the organisation during your first 12 months of work Do not complete the STA Course Do not work for a period of three consecutive months We have the following availability at each site: Kingswood - Contracted and Casual roles available. Contracted shifts are as follows: Thursday 4:00pm - 5:30pm Friday 4:00pm - 6:00pm Saturday 8:00am - 10:00am Saturday 8:30am - 10:00am Sunday 8:30am - 10:30am Yate - Contracted and Casual roles available.
