Swimming Teacher

We’re seeking a a special person to join our supportive and passionate team teaching; - Baby & Preschool classes for children aged 0-4 years - Swim Academy classes for school aged children aged 4 – 10 years Shifts would include one Sunday afternoon from 12.45pm at Harford Manor School in Norwich and one Tuesday evening from 4pm at another of our venues, Dunston Hall Hotel in Norwich. The successful candidate should also be happy to cover other team members shifts, and be looking to acquire other shifts as the business grows. A passion for water, swimming and working with children is a must-have. Ideally you will already hold the relevant qualifications for the roles, such as the STA Baby & Pre-School qualification or the ASA/STA Level 2 Award prior to joining the business and undertaking further in-house training. You need to enjoy being in the water and able to swim, have a confident and friendly personality, be flexible and a team worker. Key Skills/Attributes: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. A passion for children and for teaching. Clean Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check (paid for and conducted by Puddle Ducks) Computer literate. You need to be a reasonably competent swimmer (able to swim 25m and surface dive to the bottom of a 1.8m pool). Valid Driving Licence and use of own car is essential.
