Swim Centre Assistant Manager

We are dedicated to providing a safe, fun, friendly and clean environment in which we deliver high quality tuition and customer experience. Our centres are purpose built with teaching pools, changing facilities and coffee shops. We are looking for an Assistant Manager for our Twickenham branch, reporting to the Swim Centre Manager. This is a full-time role, with shifts varying across 7 days, including weekends. Primary duties include management of the premises and supporting and serving our customers, whilst maintaining the highest levels of hygiene and safety. You will be responsible for leading the front of house team and managing the Pool Plant procedures and will be required to identify and resolve compliance issues and report/escalate operational risks and any safety and maintenance issues. You’ll provide your team with direction and support, ensuring they are clear on their working schedule whilst keeping to company processes, procedures and policies. You will need to monitor and maintain water quality and bather comfort in our pool. This is a hands-on role, and as such you will be involved in day-to-day routines, including managing the availability of both consumable and sellable stock items. You will be responsible for ensuring the premises are kept clean, safe, warm, and welcoming. The ideal individual will also be able to perform a teaching shift each week, and act as holiday/illness teacher cover as and when it occurs. So, a Baby and Pre-school qualification will strengthen your application, as will having a good appreciation of pool water safety and pool plant operations. You’ll be pro-active, a good communicator, computer literature and motivated – with excellent attention to detail.
