Level 2 / Certificate Level Swimming Teacher

Job Summary Wessex Swim School is looking to recruit passionate and enthusiastic Level 2 qualified swimming instructors with the skills and knowledge to teach children from the age of three and upwards. Following the Swim England framework, you will help your students progress through each stage. Wessex Swim School feels that having small classes, with a maximum of 3 swimmers per class, allows for a more focused swimming lesson, and enables faster progression and development. Responsibilities Conduct swimming lessons for various skill levels, ensuring each session is tailored to meet individual needs. Educate students on water safety and swimming techniques. Develop lesson plans that incorporate engaging activities and drills to enhance learning outcomes. Monitor and record students' progress via online teachers App, and provide constructive feedback to help them improve their skills. Maintain a safe environment in and around the swimming area. Communicate effectively with swimmers and their parents regarding progress and any concerns. Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to enhance instructional skills. Skills Ability to motivate and inspire swimmers. Excellent verbal communication skills and the ability to provide effective demonstrations for all ages. Patience and adaptability to cater lessons to different learning styles and abilities. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated. Passion for teaching and a commitment to fostering a positive learning experience for all participants.
